Simon Pittman

Simon is a theatre director and movement director. He co-directs ensemble company Rough Fiction and is a creative practitioner for Frantic Assembly. He is currently associate movement director on The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-time and The Go-Between (Apollo and Gielgud Theatres, West End) and directing His Wild Imaginings for Rough Fiction and London Arts Orchestra. He also works as a senior lecturer in Drama and Performance at London South Bank University having previously worked at Royal Holloway University and Portsmouth University. Simon studied Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway University before training on the Birkbeck Theatre Directing MFA and the National Theatre Studio Directors’ Course.
